Features overview
A Living Library

A curated selection of the world's wisdom, gathered and free to read

The Wisdom Library brings together faithful, public-domain translations of the texts that have guided contemplative life for centuries, from the Tao Te Ching to the verses of Rumi. Each is presented for unhurried reading, with clean typography and the original structure kept intact, so there is nothing between you and the words. New titles are added as the collection grows, and the whole library is free to read inside your Spiritual Agency membership.

Most of the world's spiritual classics are already in the public domain, yet they sit scattered across difficult scans, cluttered websites, and editions that fight the reader. The Wisdom Library gathers them into one calm reading room.

Six traditions are represented so far. Taoism through the Tao Te Ching. Buddhism through the Dhammapada. Advaita Vedanta through the Ashtavakra Gita, the Vivekachudamani, and Max Müller's lectures. Sufism through Rumi's Divan and his Masnavi. Christian and Jewish mysticism through their own classics, including the Kabbalah Unveiled. Each is a faithful translation presented with its structure intact, verse as verse and chapters as chapters.

Begin with a single text that calls to you, or move between several, and a pattern begins to show. Beneath the different languages, images and names, the same recognition keeps returning. It is what is sometimes called the perennial philosophy, the one truth found at the root of all the world's great traditions. The Wisdom Library is gathered around that thread. However many doors these texts seem to open, they open onto the same room, and the whole of it points, in the end, to Unity.
