SpiritMCP
A Model Context Protocol surface for WordPress. The plugin sits on your site with capability flags; the server hosts the MCP endpoint your AI client connects to. 56 tools across 20 categories, two deployment modes, audit log on every call.
Tell Claude what you want. It happens, correctly.
SpiritMCP is a Model Context Protocol surface for WordPress, in two halves. The plugin (spiritwp-mcp, open source) installs on your site as a careful guest, with explicit capability flags for each category of operation. The server (Fastify + MCP SDK + SSE, hosted) is the part any MCP-compatible client connects to, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Continue, anything that speaks the spec.
Once connected, the client sees 56 tools across 20 categories: WP-CLI, SQL, plugin and theme management, file operations, media, GreenShift CSS, post and page CRUD, and the operational layer above WordPress itself. Destructive operations require a confirm token before they fire. Every call lands in the audit log.
Two deployment modes ship from the same tool surface. Mode A bridges via SSH, your site never opens a public port. Mode B exposes a JSON-RPC 2.0 endpoint, auth-gated. Same tools, same safety guarantees, different network shape. The plugin is open source so you can audit before you install. £19.99/month standalone, or £39.99/month for the upcoming Developer Bundle alongside SpiritDocs, SpiritVideoGen and FSV Studio.

What you can expect.
- 56 tools across 20 categories
- Mode A (SSH bridge) or Mode B (public MCP)
- Confirm tokens for destructive operations
- Audit log — every call recorded
- Feature flags per capability group
- Multi-tenant host header routing
One workspace. Everything you need.
The stack to run a real business, without the spreadsheet gymnastics.
56 Tools, 20 Categories
WP-CLI, SQL, plugin and theme management, file operations, media, GreenShift CSS, posts, pages, and the operational layer — every category has explicit capability flags so you decide what's reachable.
Two Deployment Modes
Mode A bridges via SSH and your site never opens a public port. Mode B exposes a JSON-RPC 2.0 endpoint, auth-gated. Same tool surface, same safety guarantees.
Confirm Tokens
Destructive operations require a token before they fire. Claude has to ask twice before it can drop a table or delete a plugin. Mistakes get caught at the asking, not the doing.
Audit Log
Every call lands in a structured audit trail — caller, tool, arguments, outcome, timing. Compliance evidence for client work, debugging trail for everything else.
Multi-tenant Routing
One server, many sites. Host header routing means an agency can manage multiple client WordPresses through a single MCP server with isolated tool surfaces and separate audit logs.
MCP-Native
Built to the Model Context Protocol spec, not bolted onto a chatbot UI. Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Continue, and anything else that speaks MCP.

Two front doors. One careful system.
Mode A bridges Claude to WordPress through SSH — your site never opens a public port. Mode B exposes a JSON-RPC 2.0 endpoint for direct MCP connections. Both share the same 56 tools, the same confirm-token safety system, and the same audit trail.
